Surviving and thriving in honors/AP/Advanced classes
The purpose of this meeting was to informed parents with children that want to enter the AP or honors classes how to survive these classes. Students that have Advanced Placement (AP) shared their strategies like tutoring. Some of the strategies are willing to spend long hours of study every night, tutoring when you needed, and doing review sessions outside of class to get ready for AP exams. If a student is willing to spend more than 3 hours studying every night, than Advanced Placement classes might be a good challenge for that particular student. This meeting was held Wednesday December eight 1999.
